We have an urgent need for someone to adopt a dog living at a house beside my mom. His owner abandoned him, and my mom cannot keep the dog at her house as she has 5 other dogs. We are feeding Sammie, and he has appropriate shelter. Sammie is an AKC registered chow chow and is very friendly. We do not want to call animal control because we know they will euthanize him. He is very friendly but we were told he does not do well with small children. There was a smaller dog with him before and he did well with that dog. He has also interacted with my mom's dogs and is never aggressive.
