Meet Jude, an adorable, sweetheart of a pup! This loving little boy was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky along with his mother (Layla) his 9 littermates when the pups were just 3 weeks old. All the pups in this litter are equally charming, cute and friendly. Five of the pups were born without tails and five have normal long tails, only adding to the uniqueness of this special group! Mom is a gentle and friendly dog, we think she may be a Boxer/Aussie mix (possibly some hound in there too!) and the father was unknown. Momma weighs in around 55 pounds and we are expecting the pups to be a similar size when fully grown. Since we do not know the exact mix of these pups though, this is merely an educated guess and they could end up maturing to be larger or smaller dogs than we are estimating. Jude is an extremely sweet and silly pup and he will make a fun-loving companion. Jude or any of his littermates will make wonderful companions for households with the time, patience and energy to raise a young pup. These delightful little muppets will be ready to leave for their new homes on or after 2/23, however, we are accepting applications for them now. At the time of adoption, they will be 9 weeks old, have had at least two series of puppy vaccines and de-wormer and a microchip before being placed. They will also be spayed/neutered. The adoption donation per pup is $375 and it helps to offset their medical expenses while in our care. This precious family is in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been received and approved.
