About Queenie

Her name says it all - this lady is a queen! Queenie is a 10 month old silky black Boxer mix who came into ACL as a stray. We were able to locate her owner, but sadly, he was in the hospital and unable to reclaim Queenie. Poor girl! Queenie's previous owner told us that she's the best dog in the world - and we agree! She's an affectionate, sweet-tempered, loving lady who is great on her leash and loves to be with people. She's pretty stressed here at the shelter, and who can blame her? Shelters are not where you want to spend your puppy months! But Queenie has not let her circumstances dampen her spirit - she's still excited to meet new people and make new friends! Queenie is good with other dogs and robust kids 8 and up. She's an energetic lady who will enjoy a home where she can have good exercise, puppy training, and then lots of snuggles!
