About Hansel

HEY EVERYONE! Meet Hansel (his sister Gretel has her own post of course!) This darling pair of siblings would make any family that is ready for the energy of a puppy EXTREMELY happy! They are able to be left for periods of several hours, content to play with their toys. They are working on house training by having access to the backyard through a doggy door. They sleep at night in the sunroom with their two big foster sisters (and the dog door closed for the night), without whining or barking. They are currently in a large 4��6 caged ( x pen) set up with pee pads and a bed. They have been using the pee pads consistently! Of course, they have puppy teeth that need things to chew, but an assortment of toys and one basket/bed that is allowed to be chewed on is working to limit the destruction caused by gnawing that some puppies do. They do want to teethe on human hands and arms, but they are doing well with learning ̢�'���no bite̢�'��%9D and settling for being held with rubs instead. While they love people/children, other dogs (and don't mind the cat at all), they are quite content to play in their room and the backyard without needing constant attention, even when I am home and working in the living room or kitchen (within view). Hansel would do best in a home with another dog as he loves playing with his sibling and foster siblings. Hansel is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. He will be available after March 9th.
