About Aspen

Meet Aspen she is a great dog for what she has been through. Poor gal was left behind when her family moved due to hurricane Harvey their house was Hit hard by the flooding and was not liveable. So the took what they could but did not care enough to take sweet Aspen along and she was pregnant. She had her pups under abandoned house underneath on the cold dirt floor and the cold & freezing weather we had this year. Luckly a nice person in the community did not think that Aspen & her 8 pups that was maybe 4 months old did not have to live like that any longer. She brought them to our Rescue that had a nursery open we set them up and momma Aspen knew right then her and her babies was safe. She is healthier by the day. She has been started on slow kill method for heartworm and antibiotics for her eyeleft eye she is partially blind in that eye but looks much better now.
