SAY HELLO TO EMMA! Emma is a beautiful 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer /Poodle mix girl. Weighing in at 18 pounds, this is one very smart and entetaining girl. Emma can be a high energy dog but quiets down nicely in the house after some outside exercise and fun. Emma is still working on her manners when meeting other dogs on her outings. She tends to be overzealous, kind of like that one friend who practically stands on top of you when they are talking to you. She still is learning 'doggie personal space!' Emma needs lots of toys and squeaky balls to play with. She will play by herself if she has enough to keep her busy. Emma like most Miniature Schnauzers, is very loyal and can be possessive of her people, her toys and her food around other dogs. She is very obedient and does anything you ask of her. She is incredibly bright. Emma is not a fan of being kenneled but will do so as long as you are out of sight and will settle down. She is housetrained completely and will whine to let you know she needs to go. At night if you put a dog bed by your bed and say 'night night'. she will get in the bed if you put a blanket over her but she really would love just to sleep in bed with you. She stays at the foot of the bed curled up in a small ball so not too much space. Emma needs an adopter who is familiar with the intelligence, loyalty and energy of Schnauzers. Emma can be somewhat bossy and dominating so she would be best as an only dog. Emma is a longer coated breed that will require brushing as well as professional grooming and nail trims every 6 to 8 weeks. Emma's adoption fee is $ 450.00 This fee includes her spay, all vaccinations including Rabies and Bordatella, microchip with lifetime registration, de-worming and professional groom.
