About Henry

This adorable itty bitty boy is Henry. He is a 1 year old long hair Chihuahua who weighs only 3 lbs, 12 oz. He was surrendered to our rescue by a retired breeder with a number of other dogs. Henry is heartworm negative and microchipped. Due to his size, he will need a home with no small children, or large dogs. He does fine with other dogs, and he would fit best in a family that has another small dog. Henry has exhibited separation anxiety and having another dog nearby can help him gain confidence and feel more secure, if his person is not nearby. He will need to be in a home with someone that is home most of the time, as he will squeal if you are not nearby. Henry is just so afraid right now. He is still adjusting to this new life and will need a family that is patient and will help him to continue to gain confidence. If you're looking for a love bug to snuggle up on your lap, Henry is your boy! He is working on his housebreaking skills, as well as walking on a leash.
