About Sparkle

SPARKLE 2 years old Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler 40 lbs Sparkle is a smart quiet calm sweet independent girl that is great with kids, dogs, women and men. At first it seemed Sparkle was not interested in canine companionship but within 24 hours of being in her foster home she has made 2 new friends, Lilly and GG both CLASP foster dogs. She currently enjoying wrestling with both of them. She is great in the car and leash trained. Most Heelers are naturally driven to herd and Sparkle is no exception, but her herding drive is very mild. She has lived most of her life outside so we are helping her fine tune her house training skills. When she is alone in her foster home, she is crated and doing great. She will be spayed, utd on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Sparkle will be available for adoption once she has healed from her spay. You can find our adoption application at www.cowtownpets.org RESCUE STORY-Sparkle's (aka Spot) family surrendered her along with 2 other dogs (Lost Paws of Texas) due to having too many dogs. They had only had a rabies vaccinations. We stepped in to prevent Sparkle from being surrendered to a Animal Shelter where should would be been exposed to disease she had no immunity to.
