About Lexi Lou

Hi, I'm Lexi Lou a very sweet, loyal, protective and initially shy (warms up fast) wonderful companion ! I am medium sized at 43 lbs full grown. I have a gorgeous coat and love my family! I am very bonded to my rescue friend Esther Sue and we are being adopted together! I am very good with kids (family now has six ages 3-12), just need time to get to know them. If you are looking for a loving and protective companion, look no further. Esther Sue is also very protective and loving and we make a super team playing and protecting property and family! She is a smaller mastiff/french Bulldog mix at 35 lbs. I came into rescue with an injury to my paw. One of my toes was removed thinking I may have had a bone infection but this did not take care of the limp. New xrays this winter by Dr. Justin Harper of San Antonio showed no injury to the bone at all in my leg or foot, rather an old nerve injury sustained when I was a puppy. No surgery will correct this. But no worries-it does not stop me at all and when running all four paws are on the ground! Mom thinks I just limp when walking out of habit and to get more duck jerky! I can keep up with the best of them! I am fully vetted, hw neg, UTD on all shots, spayed, hw neg.
