About Suzy Q

SUZY Q. 4 year old female Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer/Dachshund. 17 lbs. Great with dogs/adults/people. Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped. Adoption fee: $200.00 Dogs don't come any sweeter than our Suzy Q; we'd put money on it. She is such a darling! She's incredibly amiable and is easily accepted by all dogs; she just fits in with them all and doesn't ruffle anybody's feathers. Suzy plays with those who like to rough house and will lie quietly next to those who are more sedentary; she adapts to what the dogs around her need. Although fabulous with canines, she's also very people oriented; she happily greets everyone she meets with a tail wag and a smile. We just can't say enough about what an amazing little girl she is! Suzy does have some separation anxiety; she was found as a stray so her days alone could account for this. She doesn't get destructive but she cries; for this reason, she really wouldn't be happy in a home where she was home alone by herself for long lengths of time. We think she'd do best in a home with a young to middle aged dog who she could both romp and hang with, especially if her new parent/s work. Because our girl has beagle, german shorthaired pointer & a smidge of dachshund thrown in, she has a keen nose; as a result, she will have to have a physical fence in her new home so that she doesn't wander off as she's following a scent.
