About Sawyer

My sister (Kelly) has a 3-4 yr old, 65 lb lab/husky mix named Sawyer. He is scheduled to be put down in a couple of days because of his history. I am looking for a place for him rather than the alternative. He was a rescue from an abusive family. Kelly has been working with him for 2 years. About a year ago he bit her when she was picking up one of his toys from the floor. In October he bit my cousin while they were playing. Last week he bit another animal in my sister's house while playing with his toy. On Sat, he bit Kelly again picking up a toy. Sawyer is a super playful dog that loves to cuddle and be petted. She has 3 other dogs a cat or two. He is not an aggressive dog. He plays very well with the other animals and his people but he needs more training and probably in an environment with less stimulus. He needs to be leashed when outdoors because he will run, but does come back when called. My sister had him chipped (837553572) His vet's number is (513) 825-4011.
