About Patou

Patou has a sweet and playful disposition, and loves to play with humans and animals. She loves attention and is very intelligent and eager to please. She learns fast! Unfortunately she will be much happier with a job to do (she loves to herd!) and more room to run. She has been raised as a housepet with kids, another dog, and a cat (and is loved by all), but our suburban lifestyle is not able to give her what she needs. Patou (means shepherd, and is a common French nickname for Pyrenees) is 1/2 great Pyrenees and 1/2 German Shepherd, with 2 purebred parents- and has the unique double dew claws of a Pyrenees. She is 11 months old, weighs about 90 lbs, and is microchipped, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and healthy in every way. She will be a joy to anyone who adopts her, provides she has plenty of attention and room to run and work or play.
