What can we say about Mister Lenny? Well, he's is a big-boy who thinks he is a lap dog! Like most Great Danes, he doesn't have any idea how big he really is. Lenny is a handsome boy but despite his dapper tuxedo, he's really just a big goof ball! He becomes easily attached to his favorite human and is your typical 'velcro-dog' who wants nothing more than to be as close as possible. He prefers being loose verses crated, he can be possessive of his toys and bones so he will be best matched with an experienced owner who can guide him to behave appropriately regarding these resources. Because of his possessive nature of his toys and bones, as well as his protective nature towards his favorite human, Lenny is best in a home without small children. Lenny's appetite is healthy, he's a generally clean dog, playful, potty-trained and has shown no desire to escape his outdoor fenced potty area. He previously lived with multiple dogs big and small without issues. We aren't sure how he would do with cats as we have not had the opportunity to observe Lenny with cats. Lenny is full grown, fully mature, healthy, has no apparent skin or ear issues, is neutered, has a recently healed docked tail (such a happy boy, he continually injured the tip of his tail wagging and smacking it on everything), is up to date on his vaccines and microchipped. He is currently being fostered in Beach Grove, Indiana. Adoption fee is $150 and applications can be filled out on the website at www.lastcallk9s.com Applications are required to be submitted prior to meet and greets.
