About Honey

Honey is an aging hound with very pretty markings and really decent temperament toward her owners and in general towards others. She is good tolerant of other dogs but let's them know when she's reached her limit. She travel well in cars and RVs and does not run or stray when in the woods or away from home. Strangely enough she will run from home if she gets the chance but always comes home within 20 minutes or less. She does howl if left outdoors undatendened. She is healthy and very low energy and docile in the house. She is house broken and it is not insulated for her to spend 5-7 hours in the home while we are away at work. She doesn't chew or destroy. All in all she would make a great pet for an older companion or people without kids as she lives to snuggle and be with her masters. we reacued her about five years ago as friend for our labradors(our other hunting dogs). However we now have two children under 6 and the past year has proven, despite our efforts that her tolerance for our growing family and children is just not there. She has now bitten everyone in our family for misc reasons. We are 90% sure it's just because we are two rambunctious of a group for at her age. No serious bites yet but we cannot afford to rest with a baby under 1 year old and sadly it's time to give her a chance in a different home. Fell feee to contact with questions.
