Hello My name is nita , I am looking for any rescuer to take on my 3 year old pit bull mixed. He bit my son on Sunday and I can no longer keep him, my son is scared of him. My dog is very protective of us. He needs sometime to warm up with new people. He needs some training, We wanted him to get training our forever home but this incident happened. My son's father wants the dog dead ( we are not together) and the bloomfield animal shelter told me if I bring him back he will get put down. I was able to quarantine him in my home but after a couple days the animal shelter force me to bring him there to finish the hold.
