I adopted Ruger from the local pound. I was hoping he would be a good companion for my 2 year old Golden Retriever. They get along real good most of the time,but Ruger is much more dominant which leads to fights sometimes. I would like to see him in a home that has a lot of land and maybe even a small ranch. Ruger is very loyal and loving but only to one person at a time. He would be very good protection for anyone living alone.
