About Bacardi

Bacardi here, I'm approximately 3 years old and I am mostly likely a Black Mouth Cur. I am the absolute sweetest and most handsome boy around if I do say so myself! I love to play with other dogs, love my people, including little kids, and am very active! I was rescued from a San Antonio kill shelter, and how I ended up there is beyond me. Thanks to DFW Pup Patrol for rescuing me and putting me in my loving foster home. I am goofy and funny, loaded with personality, but I must admit that I could use some basic training and guidance since I didn't receive it as a puppy. I am potty trained with a dog door. I am not a fan of crates at all, not exactly sure why. I am fine in a crate as long as someone is home, but not so much when I am home alone! Walks and jogs would be a perfect activity for me to help release some of the energy I have!!! I will do best in a home where someone is home most of the time and can help teach me not to get into things I shouldn't and help show me that it's ok to be a calm and happy dog without the mischief part. I really, really want to learn!!! Come meet me and I know you'll fall in love with me. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
