About Chance

Meet Chance A dear friend of Doggie Bonez was notified of this poor terribly neglected Pitbull living in a small cement side area of a home surrounded by piles of his own feces, urine and God only knows what else back there. Chance had no bed, no toys, no regular food or water. No attention whatsoever. As if this situation isn't horrid enough, he was tethered to the wall 24/7. So off she went to talk to the 'owner' Not knowing what would happen, she brought a small shovel and several large hefty bags so she could clean his area. At that point, she said, 'It looks like a year's worth of poop has collected and he literally has no space to even lay down. I'm bringing a bed, food, toys & treats. I'm calling animal control as well and the police if this family doesn't cooperate and agree to give this dog a better quality of life. He has no shelter from the rain either so I'll be providing a dog house within a week. Fast forward one week later, Chance is with us. He is a beautiful brindle, Blue Nose Staffie mix. He is sweet but lacks social grace. He did great in the car, great with new people and fine at the vet. We do not know about his temperament with young kids or dogs.
