Howdy ya'll!! My name is Cowboy, and I'm a rootin' tootin' snootin' kind of American Bulldog guy! I'm all over the place, and have been owned by someone who cared for me in the past cause I'm already neutered! I am a bundle of fun and energy and bouncing off the wall is the thing to do around here, but once I get inside and get some energy out I'm content to be a couch potato. Whewee I'm ready for someone to get me into a loving home! I weigh 57 pounds and these kind folks around here tell me all I need is my rabies shot once my hold is up and I can go home with you. I have really nice neighbors here, and all the dogs that I show my nose to seem to sense I'm easy going too. Want to take me home as your new partner, partner? He is already neutered, and weighs 57 pounds. He is super sweet and seems to get along with the other dogs, not having any issues with them in the kennels next to him. He is on owner stray hold until 2-9 and will then be available for adoption or rescue. Since he is already neutered his adoption fee is $25 to cover his rabies and other vaccinations. The current adoption fee is $75 which includes the dogs spay or neuter and Rabies vaccination at a local vet, and covers the distemper/parvo vaccine and bordetella vaccine and dewormings it receives here at our shelter. No dog will leave the shelter to an adopter without being vetted first. By TN state law stray dogs are held for 3 days so they can be found by their owners before being put up for adoption or rescue. A dog found as a stray wearing a collar is held for 5 days before it is put up for adoption or rescue. Our shelter is a first come first adopt/rescue facility.There are no holds placed on dogs for potential adopters/rescue, however if a party is interested in a particular dog before it becomes available they may send an inquiry to [email protected] and those inquiries will be kept track of in order of received once dog becomes available. Adopters/rescues will be notified what order they are in in regards to each dog. They are available at 8am on the day they are available. Non vetted dogs will have an appointment scheduled and will be available for pickup for adoption the day after their surgery. Approved rescues may pull a dog and have vetted at their own expense once available to the public
