About Maxine

Maxine is a dominant dog. She is a sweet girl who was in an aweful situation. Her owner moved out and left the dogs with his estranged wife. The wife refused to give them food and water, because they were not her dogs. Animal control was called and they found Daisy with her puppies there. One of the puppies was dead in the back yard. She was cited and told to remove all animals from the property. We met her in the animal control parking lot. She handed over daddy and asked us to take the rest. When we arrived, Daisy would not let the woman near her or the puppies. She has been in a foster with her pups for five weeks. Her pups are adopted and now momma is ready for a loving home.
