Saxon is a three-and-a-half year-old Great Dane/Mastiff cross who has been trained in advanced obedience. He has been a wonderful dog for my wife and me, but we had our first child five months ago and the pack dynamic has changed in a way Saxon seems unable to embrace. Unlike our other two non-mastiff dogs, who are very submissive and defer to the baby already, Saxon has had trouble adjusting. Normally we have had no issues as we exercise him regularly and spend a lot of quality time with him, but since we've had the baby our time has been at a premium and unfortunately Saxon has suffered for it. As a result, he's started showing some aggression toward my wife and the other dogs. Thankfully he has not shown any aggression toward the baby, but we are not willing to take that chance. We love him very much and need to find him a good home, preferably one with someone with mastiff experience and who can give him the one-on-one time he deserves with no small children in the house, though older children and adults he has no dominance issues with.
