About Beau

Meet Beau, a fun Cattledog mix who is looking for the right home. He is about 2.5 years old and ready to be someone's active friend. Beau is a smart guy. He knows his basic obedience commands. He is also house trained and knows how to use a dog door. As is usual with many Cattledogs, he can be shy initially with new people but warms right up. With his family, including a teen, he is a love. He is devoted and really appreciates having a person to be his best pal. The only person he doesn't seem to like is the vet. That's understandable! Otherwise, he has been nice with folks he has met. Beau is also good with other dogs, large and small. He lives with a Chihuahua mix and enjoys his pal. He is also a good boy at dog parks. As is normal with Cattledogs, bigger, overly exited dogs can make him nervous. The right home for Beau is able to keep a Cattledog busy. This home will either work shorter hours or take him to work with them. This home will be active and also provide mental stimulation since this young guy is all that you would expect in the breed. Beau is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is located in the Bakersfield area and is available for adoption in SoCal. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
