About Jonah

Hi! My name is Jonah. I am a medium sized guy who needs some good meals to add a little more bulk to my 49 lb frame. I am wicked handsome and love people. When I ride in the car I like to rest my head on your shoulder. If you will let me ride shotgun, I will be only too happy to oblige. I am estimated to be about one year old and I have loads of puppy energy. I would love an active family . Hiking or jogging would be right up my alley. I enjoy a good game of tug, fetch or Frisbee and love chew toys. I know some basic commands (Sit, paw, come) but will need more training to learn not to jump up on people and walk nicely on a leash. Because I am exuberant, I would not be a good fit for a home with young kids. I would never intentionally hurt anyone but I am strong and don't know my own strength. I am good in a crate if you can lure me in there (food works). I may do a little singing at first but then I quiet down and can stay there all night. I like other dogs but need a canine pal who likes to play as much as I do. Up to date on all vaccines, neutered, negative for Heartworm and Lyme disease and microchipped too, I am wishing and hoping that my forever family will find me soon. I am waiting but patience is not my strong suit. Please look me over and give me a chance.
