About Maribel

Unfortunately first adoption didnt work out... Poor Maribel is even more scared and confused now... She is a standard poodle, 45 lbs, apricot color, 1.5 y.o. gorgeous girl. She was rescued from puppy mill so she is very timid and scared, and has a lot of anxiety. She does very well with potty training and crate training IF you have another friendly dog to be with her. She will not do well as only dog. She spooks very easily so she will need to go to quiet mature household. No apartments as she freezes on the leash and does bark if scared. Must have a yard. Somebody who has a lot of patience and time to earn her trust. She is very young so she will do great with proper training. But it will take time. Experience with puppy mill dogs a plus. Please do not apply if you just want to 'try', she needs to go to forever home with people who will make it work no matter what. Probably not a good choice for first time dog owners. She wants to be loved, she will be very sweet and will make a wonderful companion for a right family, but it will take time. No out of state adoptions for her, Colorado only.
