About Dallas

Meet Dallas. He is looking for his Furever home. He is a slim 40lb blue Merle aussie who is about 8 years old. He excels at fetch and would love a large fenced in yard so he could step out his front door and play but would also be ok with several trips a week to the dog park. He is awesome on the leash both on the road and hiking trails. He knows basic commands, sit, down, shake and is an expert cuddler at 40lbs. Seriously, perfect lap dog size! He has been good about getting off the furniture lately when asked, however, this was not always the case and needs a special person who will continue to be his strong pack leader. For this reason he also needs a family with no children. Also, a home without any cats. He has done well with all dogs he has met. He is a loyal boy who will patrol the house occasionally to make sure everyone (except the cat) are ok. (Maybe he is protecting us from the cat!). His theme song is 'you can't always get what you want' and he also answers to 'Dilly'. Ps. I do have pictures that are of him doing an activity other than sleeping but I'm in the process of switching phones.
