About Lee

Lee is a pretty,30 pound, sweet but shy young girl. She was picked up as a stray in Texas and brought to the kill shelter. Because she has probably never experienced love and care in her short life, she takes time to warm up. Although she is scared meeting new people, she is never aggressive or nippy and allows all handling. She takes treats gently. Once she gets to know you, she likes pets and will give you her paw for more love. She is housebroken, loves her crate and squeaky toys, really likes other dogs and enjoys the outdoors. She was treated for heartworm disease before being transported north. Pictures don't do this girl justice, she is beautiful with a unique combination of colors - chestnut brown, tan and white with black spots.
