About Tyson

Tyson is a sweetheart that loves affection and will smother you with his. He has a lot of energy and so playtime is his favorite time. He also loves going on walks and would rather be out and about instead of at home. He's shy around other people but will let them pet him and once he gains trust it's as if they're best friends. Getting a leash or harness on him is a bit of a challenge at first as he doesn't like to be tied up and will try to get away and sometimes gets mouthy. Once on the leash he is fine and ready to go. Walking with him is a breeze, he doesn't bark at other dogs or people, he's just curious and adventurous. Tyson does get nervous around other dogs. He's fine to play with them but does not like to have his rear sniffed or jumped on by other dogs. He becomes aggressive towards the dog if they continue do so. We cannot keep caring for him because the owner and myself will be going away for military training and deployments. We have tried to relinquish him to a shelter a year ago but because of his separation anxiety we were told he wouldn't do well and the best option would be euthanasia. We are running out of time and would rather have him go to a Good home.
