About Mojo

Mojo is a male, Australian Cattle Dog/ Heeler mix, about 2 years old. He is loving, gregarious, loyal, and devoted. Mojo walks well on a leash, and has learned some basic obedience commands. Mojo loves tummy rubs and lots of affection, as he enjoys being with his person. He has perfect house manners, and enjoys being in the house. He is crate trained, housebroken, and sleeps through the night. Jogs and runs like a champion, right next to his guardian. Does not chew, and he loves to tug. Mojo might be a candidate for canine sports. Mojo is very biddable , wants to please you, and is willing to learn. Sometimes he can be a bit mouthy, like a puppy, but he does not bite you. He does need an experienced owner who understands cattle dog/heeler mentality. Mojo has appropriate adolescence energy for his age. He should settle down more as he matures. Mojo is well socialized with other dogs. Mojo is crate trained and rides well in the car. Mojo has been around kids. The type of home that is recommended for Mojo is an active home. He can be placed with another dog in his life, however, he can be placed as an only dog. He's energetic, and he needs more than the 20 minute daily walk. Needs a person who is committed to doing additional training. All in all, Mojo is a nice dog who will be loyal to you, just like his ACD/ Heeler heritage.
