FREE to a good home. Two Wonderful Dogs - Bonded Pair - Need a New Home. Location: Ocala / Villages / Summerfield area Hi - Looking for a home for two wonderful dogs: SABRINA, a 10-year old Basenzi mix (housebroken, obedient and very loving - doesn't really bark at all) and PENNY, a 8-year old Golden Retriever/Collie mix (housebroken, obedient and loving - she's a former-rescue, so she can be a little shy and went through several foster families - but is sweet and a good watch dog if someone comes to the door). They have not been around children, so I can't comment on how they are with kids. Their owner (based in Summerfield currently) is heartbroken to have to give them up, but she is moving to an assisted living facility in California and they cannot go with her. **Ideally, the owner is hoping they could be adopted together, so that is our first priority for placement. But she is open to them each getting a loving home of their own, if that is not possible. The two dogs get along very well. She has less than a month before she leaves and we are open to suggestions of agencies in the are that could help place them or happy to send more info and meet with potential adopters.
