About Penny

Penny is a 33lb Catahoula Mix - she's 6.5 years old. She is a very sweet girl once she gets to know you. She is fearful of new people and will bark a lot when she first meets / sees you. She doesn't take long to warm up to people though. She's lived with other dogs both male and female and a cat practically her whole life. She's also been around babies, toddlers, kids and teens and gets along great with all of them. She loves to be outside - especially in open spaces or a fenced in yard where she can run freely. She could use some work on a leash - tends to pull a bit and bark. She is great in the car and is also crate trained. She is a great snuggle buddy for when you want to lounge around on the couch. She would be a great addition to a family that can give her the love and attention she needs and deserves.
