ONCE YOU READ THE POST AND YOU'RE INTERESTED IN BOTH OF THEM, PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO RECEIVE A REPLY FROM ME: - tell me about your family composition - tell me about your home environment - tell me about your lifestyle - tell me what city you live in - tell me how many hours you're away from home - tell me if you've had pets before or have any now - tell me what you'd be a good fit for them - tell me when you're available for us to meet - send me your name & phone number - HE IS A 2 1/2 YEAR OLD FEIST, He is approximately 25 pounds, he is not neutered He is now a sweet, goofy and energetic young dog who hasn't meet many who he doesn't like He is sensitive to loud noises (storms, fireworks, loud construction noise, loud music/voices) so he has a Thundershirt that he wears when necessary to help alleviate some of his stress He prefers to cuddle with you on the couch or bed but doesn't prefer to be under the blankets and usually will be at your feet, sometimes he'll come by your head and snuggle for a bit Some of his favorite things are to get a good belly scratch, a rub in front of his ears or a caress under his chin He absolutely loves balls, squeaky toys, antlers, stuffed toys (he removes the plastic eyes and then leaves them behind while he plays with the rest of the toy) He doesn't dig or jump fences but he will bark a bit if he sees something in the yard or nearby He is house trained He is very food motivated so he should be easily trained to do many tricks and is thrilled to see his people when they come home, he'll do the cutest jump, wiggle, dance - it'll crack you up WE WANT HIM TO GO TO A HOME WITH HIS DAUGHTER - A 6 MONTH OLD BASENJI/CHIHUAHUA/ FEIST MIX She is approximately 10 pounds & has a little more growing to do, she is not spayed She is a sweet, goofy, always happy and energetic pup who hasn't meet anyone she doesn't like - she loves giving kisses She is similar to her dad in that she is a little sensitive to loud noises (storms, fireworks, loud construction noise, loud music/voices) but not so much that she needs any special treatment -just some reassurance that the new noise is not dangerous to her She prefers to cuddle with you on the couch or bed, occasionally she likes to be under the blankets and usually will be found at your feet, if she starts off at your head she'll most likely wiggle her way to your feet by time you wake up She loves a good belly rub, even when fully energized she'll calm down to get some loving She'll follow you through the house, and wants to be close to you, she'll even hang with you in the bathroom, she definitely doesn't like to be alone She absolutely loves all toys - balls, squeaky toys, antlers, stuffed toys and people socks, and she can easily entertain herself with any toy if your busy She does dig occasionally but gets easily distracted so it's never a big hole She doesn't bark but can be a bit vocal when playing, I haven't heard her yodel like the typical Basenji yodels, but it doesn't mean she wouldn't develop that skill later in life She is working on house training, she is about 96% there She is semi-destructive of personal or household items since she is still a puppy - her favorite human item is shoes - she mainly carries them around but if left with her too long she can chew up a shoelace or flip flop She does tend to run off with an item (especially a sock) when she knows she shouldn't have it - it's a fun game of keep away for her She is very food motivated so she should be easily trained to do many tricks and is thrilled to see her people when they come home, I don't think I've ever seen a dog so pleased to see her humans arrive home She loves a good game of tug of war, chase, etc with doggie friends and her human family. She is fierce so she plays well with big dogs too She is always happy - bounding from here to there and always wagging her tail - I've never seen a happier pup We are rehoming her only because our life has gotten too complicated to care for her dad and feel they should stay together - they sleep, play and all around enjoy being together We would like to conduct a home visit We are asking small fee for them both to ensure you've seriously thought about his & her needs and your lifestyle to ensure it's a good match We'd like to keep him close to us location wise and hopefully to be able to visit him occasionally or at the very least be updated as to his and her future lives *BECAUSE OF THIS WE PREFER TO ADOPT THEM TO SOMEONE WHO RESIDES IN THE RTP AREA OF NORTH CAROLINA
