About Dapper Mr Dakota

Hello you wonderful humans out there, my name's Dakota and I'm a 3 year old neutered male who's a unique, special blend of American Staffordshire Terrier and a very rare, Sand Coat Shar Pei who's known to be especially SWEET ~ just a SUPER friendly guy who never met a stranger on two OR four legs! Everyone seems to be impressed with my STERLING manners and GENTLE ways but I was trained by a pro and find it easy to behave. I enjoy all my friends at our multi dog indoor foster home and am super nice to everyone I meet! I get along GREAT with kids and other dogs and I love to please my people. My foster Mom says that I'd even make the perfect ground floor apartment or condo companion because I'm sooooooooo laid back indoors! She treats me real special, saying I'm so SMART, such a good boy and one of the best boys she's ever seen�'�| I'd do anything she asks for all those extra hugs and kisses ~ I just looooooove to cuddle!!! I've heard that laps are for sissies though so I'll put my head on your leg or lean into your arms for a big hug, and it's really cool to just lay at your feet and entertain myself with one of my favorite bones. I've also learned to 'sit', 'stay', 'wait' and 'load up' plus I'm completely house, crate, car and even leash trained ~ putting my head through the loop and walking nicely out on lead to go out for another adventure! There's lots of other dogs here so I'm highly socialized, even made friends with everyone in the group, so my rescue friends have promised to find me a genteel Lady canine companion to enjoy sharing my life. I make sure to announce the arrival of any strangers but I'm especially good with people ~ even the UPS man! My foster Mom (Mare herself) calls me her SPECIAL 'ambassador', guess that means I'm GOOD BOY! I'd really like to have a special person(s) of my very own, one who'll teach me new things and maybe even take me out and about so I can show off my talents ~ I promise to shower YOU with love and a life time of devotion in return!
