My name is Gerry and I'm a gorgeous, silver tabby. I'm a calm, low key, and big boy who is about 4 years old. My vet says I'm ZEN. I was trapped in a mobile home park with other cats before the the owners were going to 'get rid of all the feral cats'. When I got to the clinic, the vet tech noticed that I was already neutered and not feral at all. In fact, I am a gentle sweetheart! They were able to treat me and tip my ear without any problems. They were able to carry me around the clinic cradled in their arms like a baby. The trapper went back to the mobile home park and did some investigating. She found out that my first owner was old and got very sick. Her children just put me outside to fend for myself. Eventually someone took me in, but the same thing happed. A third time, I was taken in, but that owner moved and she too, put me out. A nice lady secretly fed me when her neighbors weren't looking. If they saw me, they threw rocks at me. Then, the owners decided to hire a company to eliminate the cats. That's when the nice lady called the Rescue and I was trapped. I am a good boy who has not had any accidents in the house. I have had a rough start to life trying to find my furrever home. I am shy at first and tremble when I get close to the other cats in the house. I prefer to stay in my own bedroom with my tall cat tree in front of the window. I will sit on your lap and snuggle when I get to know you. I am neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and am current on my vaccinations. Because of my history, I need to be an only cat. If you adopt me, I will love you furrever and be a loyal friend.
