About Pogo

I can't begin to describe how great Pogo is, but I may be biased since he's my foster dog. I am assisting the humane society of Highlands County in finding Pogo his forever home. When he first came to me, Pogo was severely malnourished. Because of his non-aggressive, easy-going personality, Pogo was used as a 'bait' dog. He is very sweet, and doing much better now, but does have a fear of certain dogs, and situations. Pogo loves all people, and tolerates most dogs and cats. He is neutered,heartworm negative (on preventative, and current on vaccinations. On a positive note, Pogo NEVER barks. I'm not sure if he can or not, but nothing has ever made him do it. He would be great in adult communities, or noise-restricted areas. Unfortunately, he is developing cataracts, and will most likely lose his sight. At this point, he gets around fine, and is on supplements for his joints. All Pogo needs is a loving home with someone who just wants to kick back and enjoy life.
