Welcome Trudy. She is a 1.5-year-old Dachshund mix. She was handled rough or not handled because she is shy and warms up slowly. She is loyal like the wonderful breed is well known for and gets along well with other dogs. She is not nippy and is a submissive dog. She weighs about 8 pounds and is a pretty good weight. She sleeps with her foster mom and is looking for an older couple or single person. Someone who loves this breed will love her. If there is another confident dog that would be great or she could be an only dog. She can be adopted locally in Texas or can be transported to the East or the West Coast.
