About Rosalind

Posted 2/18/18, and pictures taken 1/12/18. ROSALIND'S FREEDOM AT SMITH COUNTY, TX ANIMAL CONTROL ON 1/12/18. Rosalind is great around adults and children, and is fine with dogs walking by her, but didn't like another dog near her at the shelter. She was running out of time at the shelter due to her specific needs of not wanting another dog near her, so I tagged her. I had her in a dog pen by herself for awhile, still being able to see the other dogs and us. After a few weeks here, I let her out to run twice with no problems. On 2/7/18, I moved her to a large fenced area with a male and female dog. She snapped at them at first, but then started playing with them, and is still doing great with them. Rosalind was picked up on Dogwood Trail on 10/24/17 weighing 51 pounds, spayed, heartworm positive, and estimated to be 2 years old. 11/28/17 - Rosalind was examined by TJC, and found to be already spayed, heartworm positive, microfilaria negative, fecal test negative, and her physical exam was good. I will be doing slow kill for her heartworms with Ivomec.
