Hi, my name is Austin and I'm a really special dog! I charmed my way out of a rural shelter by smiling on cue! Seriously, when ADA came to save dogs the shelter staff told me to smile and I did it! Well, they just couldn't leave me behind after they saw that! I am a middle aged, mixed breed who weighs about 40-45 pounds. I am really happy and I love to meet new people! A $175 adoption fee for adults and $200 for puppies under 6 months old helps us take care of all the dogs we save. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dentals and major surgeries.
