Dash is a very loving dog. He has a breathing problem that his vet described as 'asthma like'. I had him housebroken when we lived on a farm but has been having issues since we moved into an apartment in November. When I adopted Dash in 2016 he was not housebroken. I had him trained to be around chickens, ducks and turkeys without chasing them. He is very trainable. He would do better with adults as he startles easily and does not like a lot of noise. He would prefer to live in a house with a fenced in yard so that he can be off the leash. He is very sweet and a very neat little dog. When you throw a toy for him he will usually retrieve it and take it directly back to his bed. He is AKC registered, microchipped and neutered. He is not crate trained and does not like being in a crate. I think that his previous owners may have used a crate as punishment for him. He is leash trained. He is a very good car rider. He is very good off the leash when he is taught what his boundries are. He is very good for his grooming sessions. I am only asking for the rehoming fee as I recently purchased boots for his paws, new bed and toys. I am on a fixed income (disability). Since I am living on my own again I am no longer able to afford to keep Dash and would like him to go to a loving home with people who understand his special needs. Please leave a message if you are interested in Dash and would like to learn more about him.
