About Pinniped

Adoption Fee: $125
Lab / German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

My name is Pinniped and I'm ready to find love! I hear that's the thing people do around mid-February...I weigh 64lbs and am 5 years old. I am very friendly with all people I meet and have very nice manners. My spunky side comes out when I play with other dogs, though! I love to play rough with other dogs, so if they are tolerant, I'll keep them occupied for hours. I prefer male dogs over females. I'm quite the catch and I promise to love you unconditionally! Available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter, 1420 Brookside Blvd. 1.5 miles off I-5. in Merlin. Oregon. hours: Monday -Friday 10-4:30pm Saturday 10-4pm. http://www.jocoshelter.com/ copy into your url follow instructions ... click on PET ADOPTIONS and scroll to adoption application. With few exceptions Dogs are current on vaccinations, rabies, spay or neutered, and microchipped upon adoption PLEASE READ ENTIRE NOTATIONS BELOW. The most common question is 'Good with Cats?' If we know has lived with cats or farm animals will be stated above in biography. Otherwise- we don't know. If you inquire by email- please tell us about you, your family, your yard, other animals, children, and your expectations of your new pet and what your new pet can expect from you. When you do so, we can better address your inquiry. Shelter number 541 474-5458 for status of availability as some may have been adopted since this post, and about any pending spay/neuter surgery if noted as sometimes spay/neuter appointment may be sooner if a cancellation is available. Dogs noted as a Great American Shelter Dog are noted as such because we are not sure of the breed and can only give out best guess. See more at: www.savethewhiskers.org Alternate Contact [email protected] or text 541 660 6578 name of dog. It is always nice if you send an inquiry about a specific adoptable guest via email to tell us about you, your family and other pets, your yard, and most importantly, your expectations of your new family member so we can answer your questions appropriately as best as possible. Please, if you email an inquiry, please understand that these animals are in the shelter for a variety of reasons: Their lives are upside down maybe because owner died, they got lost, were abandoned, owner lost home or had a life event that left their pet in need of a new home. We don't always know how they will get along with all dogs, all children. Some won't be a perfect family member right away! They will need love, patience, a strong owner who will let them know what is expected of them and what they can expect from their new family. It may take an afternoon or it may take a week or so! But they need homes and families who will bring them back to knowing what family is! General Adoption Fees for Dog: Adult dogs and puppies- $125, Senior dogs 7 and over $50. Veterans are half price / $62.50 with presentation of government issued VA ID. For Josephine County fee includes first year licensing. Please visit the shelter or if need special arrangements for meet and greet please email me. If you have a dog- encourage you to bring also. Staff may be unable to answer calls right away, so you may contact me via email if you cannot get to shelter right away! You are encouraged to make your best effort to go during normal business hours. Note: Often times we are asked 'what about cats'?' Please be advised that we cannot guarantee a dog's behavior with a cat; sometimes the dog is fine with a cat- but cat not so happy about his canine intruder! If we know emphatically that a dog could take issue with a cat, livestock or chickens- will be stated in body of biography!
