Felix was shy when we first brought him home a couple of weeks ago, naturally, but warmed up quickly to me and my teenagers. We got his shots, but weren't able to have him neutered due to an abnormal Pro BNP test, given because of a 3/6 heart murmur. We can't afford the expense of taking to him to a veterinary cardiac specialist as recommended, and him being intact, I suspect, makes him aggressive toward our older, neutered male cats. The older cats hide if we leave Felix out to roam the house, but he still stalks them and fights with them. We end up putting Felix in a room alone so the other cats can come out to eat. I don't know how well he would do with female cats, but he'd be fine as a single cat. He stays right by my side wherever I am in the house. He sleeps at my feet or curled up at my side. He loves to play. We've never let him outside.
