About Buster

Welcome Buster!! Buster is a roughly 2 year old treeing walker coonhound. He is a very laid back, sweet guy! Here is what his foster mom has to say about him. Buster is a complete lovebug! He's a 60 lb. lap dog, but doesn't quite realize his size. He is a pretty calm guy and his tail is always wagging. He loves to snuggle and get his ears scratched. He is amazing around other dogs, and is really good at knowing when other dogs want to play and when they want their space. He walks great on a leash with minimal pulling. The only time he'�'��ll pull is when he smells something he can'�'��t resist, otherwise he walks with a loose leash. He is extremely food motivated and has already learned that to get a treat he has to sit! He is still learning how to take treats gently. He is still learning about the finer things in life, like what toys are and how to use a dog bed. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night, and is content spending some time lounging in there during the day as well. He seems to really bond with the people around him, so he needs a person or family that can spend a lot of their free time snuggling and exploring with him. He wouldn't do well being left alone a lot. Buster is already such a great dog, and once he learns the basic rules of your house, he will be the perfect addition to a lucky family.
