About Aranciata

Aranciata is an extremely loving and affectionate kitty. She likes to cuddle and purrs and drools when you pet her or brush her. She never misbehaves. She sleeps through the entire night and doesn't get up until you do. She never wakes you up, even if she's hungry. She spends the day sleeping and looking out the window, and she is usually waiting by the door when you come back home in the evening. She is a very loving companion and is very loyal to her human. Aranciata struggles from anxiety, especially when meeting new people or leaving home. She would do best in a quiet, one or two person household. We do not have children, but I do not think that Aranciata would get along with kids. She isn't a big fan of other felines in the household, although she will eventually tolerate them. She currently lives with another cat, and while the two aren't exactly best friends, they have learned to tolerate one another. Aranciata has random bouts of diarrhea. They are usually self limiting, lasting 24-48 hours, and happen every couple of months. We have run tests and they always come back negative for parasites. She has also been de-wormed several times. Because she is otherwise very healthy, doctors believe that her GI issues are due to her anxiety. This is why Aranciata will need a patient human who would give her lots of love and make her feel safe.
