About Champ

Hiya! My name is Champ, and that is just what I am! Life dealt me some pretty difficult cards, but I have a heart of gold. My heart is so big that worms wanted in on the love, and I am currently being treated for heart worms. It was also discovered that I have developed a heart murmur which may be a result of the worms, only time will tell. I am receiving treatment to help me get back to my best, but in the meantime I hope to find a home that can show me lots of love! I cannot have a home with cats or other dogs. I am timid of people at first so I will need a couple meet and greets for me to get used to you. I hope to meet you soon, and who knows, maybe we could be the best of friends! ** Please note that Champ will need a special home that understands and is willing to take on his medical treatments.
