About Brock

Brock is a sweet boy who loves to snuggle. He was a rescue that was in pretty bad shape when I adopted him. We have come a long way together and he has improved so much over the last several years. Brock is very skittish around men but warms up to them once some trust is established. He is food aggressive and will snap at a hand when it goes to take it away from him. He is not free fed because of this, he will guard his food constantly so we have his feeding time and the bowl is pick up when empty. He will also snapped if he is scared (ie, being tripped over or stepped on by accident)which is easy to avoid. We do not run into a lot of issues with this in my home, however, I will not release him to a home that has small children because he will likely bite if hurt or the kiddo gets to his food. He would be better suited in a calm home with older or no children at all. This boy has SO much love, he will let you hold him like a baby for hours while you watch TV and is a snuggle bug in bed if you let him. He only comes up on furniture if invited. He is potty trained, however, he needs to be crated when left alone because he will get bored and decide not to not be so potty trained. I am getting ready to move to Washington DC and I have two other rescues which puts me over pretty much all of the rental pet limits in the area that I can afford. My other two have a lot of medical issues and he is the best one to rehome to a loving family. If you are patient and willing to bond with this sweet boy you will be heavily rewarded with a boy full of so much love. I am willing to travel to get this boy to his perfect home.
