A note from Louie's foster mom: 'We really enjoyed fostering Louie. He is very sweet, and very calm. He likes to be around people. He would follow us around and settle at our feet. He is house trained and knew to go to the back door when he needed to be let out. He went into his crate easily whenever he was told. We left the door to the crate open all the time, and he often went in on his own. We have 1 terrier mutt named Cali and 2 cats. Louie and Cali got along great right from the start. They liked to play, but they spent most of their time lying around together. If one got up, the other immediately did too. I worried about how Louie would be with our cats. I shouldn't have-Louie had absolutely no interest in them. He ignored them, even as they got more comfortable with him and got closer and closer. A week into his stay, one of the cats walked over to Louie and sniffed his nose and face. Louie was relaxed and quiet, and kept lying in his spot even after the cat walked away.' Louie is a volunteer favorite at the shelter. He would prefer older kids and adults. Come meet Louie! Est. DOB: 7/23/16 35 lbs.
