About Arya

Arya is a 2 �%BD month old black and tan female German Shepherd mix. Arya along with 4 siblings and her mother, Margaery, were found living under a house in Houston during the hard freeze in early January. Lucky for Arya and her family, some wonderful concerned citizens and amazing rescuers were able to save them from the harsh environment. Sav-A-Pet Houston agreed to take the family into their rescue group and Arya and her siblings spent the next several weeks being nurtured to health by Margaery and her foster family in the comfort of a warm safe home. Arya is a very sweet, energetic, and curious young girl who loves playing with other active dogs and her foster family. She enjoys snuggles and belly rubs, and when not running around with her foster siblings, Arya is happy just hanging with her humans. Arya will need a family who has time to teach her and the patience for her puppy ways so she will grow into the wonderful dog she is meant to be. Arya is crate-trained, sleeps through the night, mostly house-broken and knows basic commands!! An adoption application is available on our website: https://www.savapethouston.com.
