About Jessie

My name is Jessie, and I am a sweet tabico (mostly white with calico markings that are tabby-colored instead of black) who was born in April 2017. My fur is soft as a bunny's, so I'm a delight to the touch. I had been shy my whole life but now realize what all I've been missing: now I LOVE to get attention as well as be petted and follow my foster mom around for more! She was super patient with me to come around and learn to trust and love, so my future human companion will have to do likewise until I settle in and get acclimated to my new home. I love dogs and other kitties too. People -- I just have to trust them first, and then -- watch out -- I will be yours forever! (I've never been around small children.) Shy kitties like me end up bonding to our humans more than the outgoing kitties who love everybody, so we can become our human's very special, cuddly friend. I was found as a small kitten and ended up at a shelter. Thank heavens my future foster mom got me out of there because it's no place for a pretty girl like me. As much as I love it here in my foster home, I'm ready for a home of my own with people who can lavish me with love and attention.
