About Poco

Meet 3 yr old, 5.5 lb Poco the enchanting Chihuahua. We found him sitting in a high kill shelter and his days were numbered. His foster mom who has never been a big Chihuahua person adores him. She said that he has changed her mind about Chihuahuas. He seems to have no 'issues' as he is neither yappy, nippy, growly, shakey, or fearful. He greets everyone he meets with a smile and a tail that never stops wagging. He has a little hair loss around his eyes due to bad diet, past care, (or no care), and the vet thinks, like so many people and animals these days some allergies. He loves to play fetch, gets on with his current housemate dogs, walks beautifully on a leash and is a perfect passenger in the car. An absolute delight who would bring continual fun and joy to any household. We do think that a home without small children would be best.
