About Atlas

My name is Atlas a 4 year old Akita! With a proper intro I'm ok with other dogs. I however don't do well with small animals like cats, rabbits, squirrels ect they look like my lunch, I'm still currently seeking what treat I like but I know I don't like milk bones, when I do get treats I can sit, and do handsome boy (standing on back paws) with treat in the air high enough so he can't get it, when giving the treat to me say gentle and I'll try not to touch your hand. Even tho I look big bearish like and very intimidating I have a heart of gold, I would be perfect for a family without small kids and small animals, I weigh 91 lbs. I live to go on walks and runs but I need my leash cause I will run away from home, I do very good on my leash. Sometimes when I sleep I stand up and lean on something, my foster mom pulls my paws forward to let me know it's okay to lay down and relax. My nick names are 'gentle giant' and 'big guy'.. I would love to get to you my other family as I love my foster family. I am being fostered in Neshkoro and my fee is $250 that includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
