Charlie was found on the road. When owners were contacted by his microchip info they refused to take the dog back and said to dump him, or take him to the pound they did not want him. Said he was about 13 months old then. We had him neutered, vaccinated and he has been waiting for almost a year for a real home. He loves kids, not so sure on cats. Seems to want to be a bit dominant with other dogs although he was running the neighborhood with what people thought was his brother. We believe he is about 2 years old. He can climb a 5 foot fence like its nothing. Very agile and very intelligent. He sadly is living in a 5 by 10 kennel that has a top on it to keep him in. He needs a real home! I have no doubt he can be taught an amazing amount of things by how fast he learned the few things we asked of him. We have taught him to walk on a leash, as he acted like he had never even had a collar on when we got him. Photo was the day we found him in the middle of the road with 2 vehicles almost hitting him as he wasn't getting out of the road. He was nervous but very well behaved in the car. He is crate trained and I think is housebroken. We have not had him in the house much. He is very happy wiggly excited anytime children are around. no interest in cats. If interested in him please send you current, or recent past vet clinics phone number, your name and pets names, for us to call for a reference. It is required before adopting. [email protected]
